Light tuna wraps recipe

185 gr. of canned tuna (in water)

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons of corn

3 medium sized fresh white mushrooms (peeled and diced)

1 medium to large tomato (diced)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Cornichon pickles

Green thyme (Za’atar Akhdar)

Tortilla bread (Regular or Wholemeal)

Tuna Preparation:

1. Squeeze the water out of the tuna can then empty the tuna in a bowl and mash it until
homogenous in size

2. Add the Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to the tuna and mix well

3. Mix the mushrooms and the corn with the tuna

4. Mix in the tomatoes

5. Season with salt and pepper

Tortilla Wrap Preparation:
Heat the tortilla bread in a skillet until it gains it’s freshness (flip to heat both sides)
Place the bread on a plate and spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of the tuna mix in the middle
Add the cornichon and then the green thyme
Wrap it together and enjoy

1. If you don’t like tortilla bread you can have it in any other bread that u prefer. In case
you don’t want to have bread at all, you can replace it by an iceberg lettuce
leaf instead.

2. You can also replace the balsamic vinegar with lemon juice depending on availability
and your taste preference.
