Selena Gomez posted a picture of her new tattoo which so happens to be in Arabic, but what does it mean?
The “Slow Down” singer who recently got out of rehab, decided to mark her body with a very strong message in Arabic.
Pronounced “Aheb Nafsak Awalan”, the phrase means “Love yourself first”, and was tattooed on the upper right side of Selena Gomez’s back. The artist who gave her this tattoo is Bang Bang McCurdy. He shared the below picture on instagram last Wednesday along with the following message.
“Little gift for my friend @selenagomez”.
In an interview with E!News, Bang Bang said Selena already had it written out how she wanted. “The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn’t take too long, probably about 30-45 minutes. The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot… She loved it; she flipped out!”
