LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, reaffirmed it support to MySchoolPulse by sponsoring the annual ‘Pulse 5K Run’ held in Faqra Club Kfardebian. With 700 participants, the race was held under the slogan “Run for a Cause, Run for Education” and the aim of LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital was to spread a message of hope, while healing with compassion.
As the official and exclusive medical partner, the Medical Center set up two checkpoints, in addition to having the LAU mobile clinic present, to cater to any injury that may occur. 10 patients endured minor injuries and were promptly treated by the on-ground ER team lead by Dr. Alain Tanios.
MySchoolPulse has been hosting this event annually for the past 12 years, in partnership with Beirut Marathon Federation and Faqra Club and with the accreditation of the Lebanese Athletics Federation. The race aims to empower the runners, spread hope and further the mission to provide education to children in hospitals with life-threatening illnesses.
