Haifa Wehbe broke her silence on Friday in an interview with Lebanese TV channel LBC on Friday after the announcement of her separation from her husband, Ahmed Abou Hashima.
She’s on her way to becoming a single woman again, and Haifa Wehbe finally gave the press a brief comment on how she’s holding up since her separation from her husband, Egyptian business man Ahmed Abou Hashima. The separation was made public on Wednesday and immediately went viral on social media.
“My marriage with Ahmed was based on a great love. We faced a lot of challenges, many of which we were able to overcome, and there were some challenges that we were not able to overcome”, said the singer in an interview with Lebanese TV station LBC.
“At the end we decided to separate… but the problem is we’re still in love”, added the Lebanese beauty.
Although Haifa’s split will still be buzzing, it seems the Lebanese singer will be focusing on her career and will lay low for a while. Haifa, who is one of the most followed Lebanese celebrities on social media platforms thanked her fans and the press for their support and promised she will be back soon.
