Shake Shack is now open at ABC Achrafieh

New York’s iconic Shake Shack, known for its unrivaled selection of burgers and hotdogs, has opened its second Lebanon location at ABC, Achrafieh.

Conceived by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), Shake Shack is a vibrant community gathering spot and is known the world-over for its high-quality menu including 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, delicious flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard ice cream, and more.

Shake Shack’s second branch arrives among Beirut’s ever-growing food scene, and will be located in one of Beirut’s premier shopping and food destinations: ABC Achrafieh. This follows Shake Shack’s successful opening at Beirut City Center – Hazmieh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Kuwait Jeddah, and Qatar confirming the brand’s strong appeal in the Middle East.

The Beirut menu includes all the Shake Shack classics, including the burger that has swept the region—the ShackBurger, made from 100% all natural American Black Angus Halal beef and contains no hormones or antibiotics. The ShackBurger is simple, balanced and most of all, flavorful. It is served with American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, ShackSauce and finished with a toasted and buttered soft potato roll.

In addition to its renowned burgers and hotdogs, our Lebanese clients are fans of Shake Shack’s delicious shakes, crispy Yukon crinkle cut fries and creamy frozen custard ice cream. The Beirut menu also features an exclusive frozen custard concrete (frozen custard ice cream blended at high speed with mix-ins.) The ABC-specific concrete is the Achrafieh Coffee Toffee (coffee, marshmallow sauce, chocolate toffee), there’s also the famous Shack Attack (chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough and Valrhona chocolate pearls, topped with chocolate sprinkles), which is a nod to a concrete at the original Shake Shack in NYC.

Born in New York City’s Madison Square Park in 2004, Shake Shack is an integral part of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) which owns and operates some of New York City’s most celebrated restaurants: Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, The Modern, Maialino, North End Grill, Blue Smoke, Jazz Standard, and Untitled at the Whitney.

Each Shake Shack is built uniquely for its location. Keeping in line with Beirut’s recent green initiatives, the newest addition to the Shack family is constructed with a variety of recycled and sustainable materials, as well as LED lighting throughout. Its interior walls feature wood salvaged from snow fences in Wyoming, USA and its chairs and booths made from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Shake Shack is now open in ABC Achrafieh, on Level 3.
