The 2014 collection of the Swiss Maison, just back from an amazingly successful presentation at Baselworld, will be displayed for the first time in the US for the Las Vegas event’s visitors.
First of all the new Contograf chronograph, a re-edition of the homonymous creation from the 1960s. Most of the original features have been maintained in the new 2014 edition but there are as well many innovative details: the new ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation, the deployment clasp Déclic (Patented) and the new Chassis® steel bracelet. The screwed-in caseback is personalized with the inscription “Tribute to Contograf – 1960s”, expression of a journey through time interpreting the 1960s in a contemporary way.
The visitors will also have the possibility to discover the new dial versions of the iconic Chrono 4 – the first and only chronograph in the history of watchmaking with four aligned counters (Patented – Registered Design) – with an even more sporting feel. The three new versions have a special diamond finish on the Arabic numerals and an “avivage” illuminating their outline as well as 10 plots in relief, with a luminescent insert, either black or white depending on the version. This edition is available with a rubber strap, a black alligator skin strap or a “Chalin” steel bracelet.
Among the best-sellers the classic 8 Jours, as well as the Extra-fort, the Chrono 4 Géant Full Injection and the Tazio Nuvolari collection, expressions of the Swiss Maison’s constant innovative spirit and sensibility towards man’s evolution in his own time.
Finally, Gilda will express the enchanting feminine nature of the Eberhard & Co. woman: its soft, harmonious lines follow the wrist with a clever touch of aesthetic and design, a harmonious marriage of modernity and tradition.
A rich display of new products that will be soon available on the US and Canada markets thanks to the agreement signed last year with ABS Distributors, the partner of the Brand that is restructuring the distribution network determinedly building up the Brand’s positioning in America.
