Believing that Christmas is not just about gifts, but a season to celebrate humanity and love, Grand Hills, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa, lighted up its Christmas tree and decoration, in a one-of-a-kind initiative, inviting deaf children of the “Institut Père Robert Pour Jeunes Sourds” to sing Christmas carols using sign language along with Carolino chorus.
Being the most wonderful time of the year, the season of love, joy and goodwill, Christmas at Grand Hills is celebrated annually in a unique way & always for a good cause.
After drawing a smile on SOS children’s faces last year, Grand Hills decided this year, in presence of its customers, clients and media, to add joy to deaf children’s hearts through entertainment, Christmas characters and decoration, conveying all good this season brings to the young generation so they can be happy and cherish this precious moment.
A Christmas exhibition was inaugurated, as well, where the children of the Institute displayed products made by them.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Giuseppe Ressa, General Manager at Grand Hills said, “Christmas is a time of reflection, a time of giving and to be thankful. The lighting of the Christmas tree marks the opportunity to give joy and a message of peace. We want to share with our guests, with the local community and our employees at Grand Hills, our gratefulness. Christmas marks as well the birth of a new life, hope for a better future. We sincerely hope for a better future and wish everybody a Merry Christmas”.
Lighting the Christmas tree is the launch of the Christmas season at Grand Hills where Christmas dinner will be celebrated on December 24 at Chez Alain, through a set menu, followed by a Christmas buffet lunch on the 25th. Wrapping up the year will be celebrated at Grand Hills with a gala dinner and party at Afrah Ballroom, followed by the New Year’s Buffet Lunch on January 1, 2018.
