On May 11th 2014, a special event was held at Uruguay and Argentine streets in the heart of the Lebanese capital: “La France à Beyrouth”.
Thousands of “Francofoux” and “Francofolles” from all generations took over the streets in a friendly and ultra-festive atmosphere.
A street party was “au rendez-vous” ! “Parade Francofolienne”, stilt walkers, mimes, fire breathers, living statues and other performances rocked the crowd on the rhythms of DJ Marc. The largest francophone event of the year was marked by an interactive outdoor space, outdoor improvised tables as well as wine and “canapés” live stations.
