Majid Al Futtaim Properties announces Mr. Sleiman Mallat as Senior Mall Manager for Beirut City Centre, a seasoned talent to drive the continued progression and delivery of one of Lebanon’s largest retail and entertainment destinations.
Beirut, Lebanon – Beirut City Centre has announced Mr. Sleiman Mallat as the Senior Mall Manager to successfully launch and manage Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ first shopping mall in Lebanon. A Lebanon native with extensive retail experience in the market, Mr. Mallat brings a wealth of knowledge and management proficiency, enhancing the Beirut City Centre management team. Set to open in the first half of 2013, Beirut City Centre is currently under development and will be one of Lebanon’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations.

As Senior Mall Manager for Beirut City Centre, Mr. Mallat brings more than seven years of experience in the Lebanese shopping malls market where he diversified his retail industry experience across asset management, operations, customer service and retail delivery.
Now taking up his position with Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Mr. Mallat’s key objectives for Beirut City Centre include ensuring all targets are met, recruiting a team of strong local and regional Lebanese talent and setting new standard levels for malls in the region.
Beirut City Centre will be located in the city’s Hazmieh district and will offer two main anchor units, Carrefour and VOX Cinemas, as well as an additional 200 outlets ranging from local to international brands covering fashion, beauty, restaurants and leisure.
