I have been a loyal user of the Gilette Venus Embrace Razor for several years now, and there are 5 main reasons I am stuck with the brand, hopefully for good!
Gilette is a well-known brand, which makes the popular men’s shaving razors, but they do have some amazing products for women as well. The Gillette Venus Embrace is my favorite. It is a classic safety razor with replaceable blades, perfect for use in the shower. And here’s why I love using it:
1) The anti-slip grip handle
The Venus Embrace’s handle has an anti-slip grip with small indentations along handle and side, so you can grip it more easily in the shower. This helps when reaching difficult parts of your body, and prevents the razor from easily falling out.
2) The blades are wide
The head that contains the razor blades is lot wider and longer than your traditional disposable razor blades and other brands. In my experience, this makes shaving your legs an easier, and much less painful.
3) The number of blades
The razor comes with five rows of blades built in, so if the first blade doesn’t get all the hairs, the consecutive blades will be sure to do so. You will also notice that when using this razor, you will shave less often because it does such a great job in shaving the hair.
4) The blades are moisturized
In each of the razor blades are also two ribbon that are filled with lotion. As the razor gets wet, there will be moisturizers that melt from these strips, and they add an extra bit of glide to help shave your legs. This is great for moving the razor efficiently throughout the area you are shaving, and it makes you consume much less shaving lotion!
5) It’s safe to use
The combination of the extra moisture the razor diffuses; along with Gilette’s signature shaving lotion will also minimize the nicks and cuts that you can get from traditional razor blades. I have noticed much less of such occurrences, and this is great especially for sensitive areas in the body.
