New York Bridal Fashion Week has come and gone and we are still reeling in from all the gorgeous looks this season!
Something that caught our eye this year were the beautiful accessories that really brought the gowns to life! One accessory designer in particular became the highlight of the NYBFW following the Anne Barge runway show.
It’s no surprise that she’s someone of Lebanese descent!
It’s none other than Colette Malouf, the famous American-Lebanese accessory designer who recently became a trendsetter in hair accessories. Malouf was born in Manhattan to a Lebanese immigrant family from the famous town of Zahle.
Malouf’s love for accessories started at a very early age. As a young girl, she loved sneaking into her grandma’s closet to see her Dior, Norell, and Hattie Carnegie accessories. As she grew up, she turned her love into a real business empire that has been booming for over 20 years.
Her designs were featured in top magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Glamour. She has decorated the hairstyles of some of the world’s most famous stars such as Shakira and Victoria Beckham. Her top-notch designs with extreme elegance captured the interest of women from around the world.
With her accessories, this year’s bridal looks were straight out of a fairytale!
