Fall 2014 runway looks we want to wear now

Fashion month is over, and we’ve seen so many trendy looks in New York, London, Milan and Paris! While Fall 2014 may be months away, there are still some outfits that we wouldn’t mind wearing right now!

After all, fall and spring aren’t all that different when you think about it… The weather is mild and transitional, and items for warm weather blend with those for cold weather. So here is some fall inspiration… for the spring season!

Dress and trench coat are a perfect combination!

One of the best things about spring is that you get to lose the layers and get more freedom of movement. That’s why we always love a dress plus trench coat combination – it’s effortless and it looks great. A.P.C. used pastels, which couldn’t be more proper for spring, and we love the result. A classic, gray trench coat that’s slightly longer than the dress, can look fresh with nude, t-strap sandals with a comfortable heel.

Printed dresses are perfect for any season!

Printed dresses are perfect for any season, but this would look lovely in the spring sun! Paired with nude ankle boots and an oversized clutch, as seen at Chloe FW14, this outfit will turn heads. We also love the model’s natural makeup and flowy hair, and we think it’s a look we could very much get into.

Keep the accessories simple.

A shirt dress is a staple in every woman’s wardrobe – it’s comfortable and it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. But since it’s not yet warm enough so you wear it on its own, pair it with a long and cozy cardigan, as seen at Band of Outsiders FW14. Keep the accessories simple for maximum effect: round sunglasses, oxfords and (optional) fun socks. An oversized bag or even a backpack will look chic with this look.

The mini leather skirt contrasts nicely with the delicate chiffon shirt.

This looks from the new Coach collection is minimal, yet very stylish. The mini leather skirt contrasts nicely with the delicate chiffon shirt. The hat gives the whole look a bohemian touch, while the flat ankle boots and the oversized leather tote make it comfortable and practical. Throw on a trench coat and you’re ready to go!
