Around fashion weeks, and besides bringing you the latest collections and our favorite styles through our magazine and social media; our style radar was spotting interesting styles among the participants and guests; here’s what we think of the not-so-marginal non-runway styles:.
The British got more odd genes than the Americans! And this couldn’t be more true! But the Paris Fashion Week guests definitely had the highest level of glam; then again, it’s Paris!
Of the street styles that paparazzi caught in and around fashion weeks; we noticed that the British were more daring in pushing the limits in colors and pattern than the Americans; the French somewhat stayed conservative.
In effect, whether on the runway or within the media & VIP guests; London pushed the limits way harder! But we couldn’t help but notice the great style of the Lebanese Fashion Director Caroline Issa; the designer Anna Dello Russo & the star Jessica Alba in NYFW! In Paris, our radar favorited Anna Dello Russo again, J-Lo and Salma Hayek!
Our two favorite lessons from activating our style radar were: Perfect matches seem to be so last century, and “eccentric and feminine” seems to be the new “classy and fabulous”.
