It is a high fiber and protein recipe for the people looking to stay fit and enjoy pancakes for breakfast.
Ingredients:
1 cup crushed oats
½ a cup of flour
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 egg whites and 1 whole egg
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
250 ml (1 cup) of skimmed milk
Preparation:
1. Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt; mix them with the crushed Oats. Make a well in the center.
2. Whisk or beat the eggs lightly in a bowl and add the milk and vanilla extract to it. Mix well and pour them all at once into the well, whisking to form a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set the batter aside for 20 minutes.
3. Spray a frying pan with cooking oil, and place over low heat. Pour some of the batter into the frying pan according to the size of pancake u like to have.
4. Wait until the pancakes turn light brownish and flip.
5. Enjoy!
