Maya Reaidy was crowned Miss Lebanon 2018 on Sunday during a ceremony held at Forum de Beyrouth, in Beirut.
The 22-year-old beauty will represent Lebanon in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, in December 2018.
She is currently studying Pharmacy at the Lebanese American University (LAU) and enjoys reading, music, dancing and yoga.
Miss Lebanon 2018 was organized by Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih, broadcasted by MTV and presented by renowned media personality Marcel Ghanem and former Miss Lebanon runner-up and TV presenter Annabella Hilal.
The jury was composed of renowned Lebanese and international personalities, notably Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who flew in to Lebanon especially for the occasion. The other members were: Nancy Ajram, Bassam Fattouh, Nicolas Jebran, Adel Karam, Georges Kordahi, Guy Manoukian, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Doumit Zgheib.
Mira Toufaily was first runner-up in the competition, ahead of Yara Bou Monsef, who was the second runner-up.
The ceremony featured performances by “superstar” Lebanese singer Ragheb Alameh, singer Maya Diab, Massari and French Montana.
