Miss Lebanon 2018’s first runner-up, Mira Toufaily, will represent Lebanon at Miss World 2018 that will be held in Sanya, China in December.
The 26-year old beauty who hails from Baalbeck but was raised at SOS Children’s Villages of Lebanon, was amongst the favorites to win this year’s Miss Lebanon pageant. The latter was won by Maya Reaidy, who will be representing Lebanon at Miss Universe, giving Lebanon the chance to win this crown for the second time in its history.
The 68th Miss World Final is slated to take place on December 8th, 2018, in Sanya. This will be the eighth time that Sanya has hosted the contest. About 120 countries are expected to participate in the Miss World 2018 pageant. More than 30 countries have already crowned their representatives for the 68th Miss World pageant.
In parallel, the Miss Universe 2018 pageant will be held in Bangkok, on December 17. This will be the third time that the pageant is held in Thailand. Last year, the contest was held in Las Vegas in the US and in 2016 it was held in the Philippines.
