Aline Lahoud set to compete in The Voice – France

Lebanese singer Aline Lahoud is set to compete in the French edition of the singing contest show The Voice, according to BelleBeirut’s french version.

Aline Lahoud, who is the daughter of renowned Lebanese singer Salwa al-Katrib, was chosen by one of the coaches during the preliminary stages of the contest, according to BelleBeirut French.

However, it was not immediately clear which team she joined. According to one source, the singer’s performance was supposed to be included in the first episode of the show’s third season, but for an unknown reason it did not.
It seems she will appear in the next episode.

Quand Tout S’enfuit – A French song by Aline Lahoud.

This is the third year in a row that a Lebanese talent makes it to the French edition of this popular singing contest. In 2012, Jhony Maalouf made it to the final stages but did not win the title, and in 2013 the young Anthony Touma also made it to the final stages but did not win.

Lets hope Aline will come back with the title this year, especially that Lebanese-British singer Mika is one of the coaches!
