While most medical students spend their days studying in libraries and wait till their 40s to do the things they enjoy, Jad Ardakani decided to defy all borders and put his foot down in much more than just the medical field.

At only 23 years young, the 3rd year medical student at AUB was able to take over all social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. After only 4 months of its launch, his brand-new podcast “Unjaded” was able to rack up over 5 million views on TikTok, and over 150,000 views on YouTube.

2022 has been a massive year for Ardakani. He had just started his clinical rotations at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and was still able to successfully launch his revolutionary guest-based podcast which put him at the top of the list of content creators and podcasters in Lebanon and the Middle East.

Despite having an insanely tight schedule in his academic and medical career, Jad did not want to let go of his creative dreams and used his 4 week-vacation between his second and third year of medical school to launch his podcast instead of taking a break. Now, he is 15 episodes into the ‘Unjaded’ podcast and has interviewed some of the biggest young Lebanese athletes, talents, and creators!

Yes! You heard that right. Jad finishes from his long shifts at the hospital in Hamra, changes his scrubs into a normal outfit, and goes straight to the Unjaded studio located in Ashrafieh. It’s a real marathon!

What we love the most about Jad, is the passion he has for influencing the Lebanese youth through his podcast and highlighting the beautiful talents present in our country. Whether it’s to inspire the next generation of doctors, athletes, creators, or artists, Jad always tries to deliver subtle messages through conversations with his guests in order to let the listeners leave with more than what they came with.

So, don’t waste one more second!

If you really want to chase your dreams, go get inspired by all the content that Jad Ardakani is producing for his love of the Lebanese youth, despite all the struggles he faces in his medical career.
