During the festive season, PepsiCo, the global food and Beverage Company, dedicated a day to visit Ecole Saint Charbel-Daroun in an effort to draw a smile on the children’s faces, and as part of PepsiCo’s social responsibility strategy.
PepsiCo’s staff spread the holiday spirit in a ceremony during which gifts were distributed to children in an ambiance of love and hope. The children gathered around animation shows, face painting, and a magic show, enjoying their interaction with it as sounds of laughter created an atmosphere of fun and entertainment.
Later the children engaged in entertaining stories and conversations with PepsiCo’s team as everyone enjoyed activities that brought joy and smiles.
On the occasion, Mr. Elie Bou Akel, Franchise Management Director at “PepsiCo” said: “PepsiCo values its corporate responsibility and prioritizes this activity as an essential component in its corporate vision and commitment to the” Performance with Purpose “strategy of sustainable long-term growth with a positive impact on society and the environment. “
“PepsiCo’s main concern is to support all children without exception throughout Lebanon, and this activity reflects the belief of the need to secure the most basic rights of children, namely joy, fun and entertainment, especially in the holidays.” He added.
To further spread the Christmas spirit, PepsiCo donated a large screen and a DVD player for children to enjoy watching movies and documentaries. It also provided 27 educational games in the common room where kids spend their time after school for children to play with, and psychomotor equipment to be placed in the children’s gym. Additionally, PepsiCo offered a modest contribution to the school’s kitchen with food and beverages, in cooperation with the SMLC and G. Vincenti.
